Leslie Touma - Founder and CEO, and Molly

Before she started the Best Friends Company, Leslie was a vice president at one of the world’s largest automotive seat manufacturers. It was this background in automotive seating and interiors along with a keen interest in identifying and meeting customer needs that provided her the inside expertise to create the Best Friends Company product line up.

Leslie has had a long career in business and politics, both at the state and national levels. But now, instead of taking her cues from Fortune 500 executives or politicians, her business inspiration has gone to the dogs.

Molly, a loveable five-year-old mixed breed, was adopted from the Michigan Humane Society at the annual Adopt-A-Pet Day at the Detroit Zoo. Molly, now the chief product tester and model for the Best Friends Company, is enjoying her key role at the company, and, after appearing in several news articles, is adjusting to life in the public eye.

Coty is a 10-year-old Finnish Spitz who is very proud of her vocal abilities. An avid barker, she likes to call attention to herself and manages to draw lots of compliments on orange coat. Being the first-born, she adjusted well to the addition of the Fontana children, Dino (9) and Nicholas (6).
